SCOTTY'S BUGS Mulched Leaf Litter for Reptiles, Isopods Live & Snails, Isopod Substrate, Terrarium Bedding, Organic Leaves from Natural Woodlands, 12-Ounce Pack - size: 12oz

About this item

• Sterilized, Clean & Natural: Leaf litter collected from natural woodlands is sterilized to provide a high-quality, organic substrate for your reptiles, isopods, and amphibian pets to thrive in a forest-like habitat. The mixture includes elm, maple, and oak leaves.
• Leaf Litter for Terrarium & Other Tanks: Enhance the habitat of your reptiles, isopods, or snails with our leaf litter, which provides visual barriers and natural hiding spots. It also works great as a soil additive for plants and helps maintain healthy humidity levels in the tank.
• Mulched for Maximum Benefit: Our leaf litter has been properly mulched, resulting in a substrate that fills enclosures more effectively, providing more access to burrowing, & offers easy digestion as a food source.
• Nutrient-Rich Composting: When adding to existing soil substrates, the leaf litter for reptiles will break down faster than whole leaves, providing a nutrient-rich environment for any bioactive terrarium.
• Provides Comfort & Shelter: It's a valuable addition to various detritivore terrariums & bioactive enclosures, serving as a safe resting place & shelter for reptiles, isopods, springtails, snails, & frogs. All of these animals will find comfort in the cover it provides! The 12-ounce pack is enough to cover the bottom of a 10-gallon tank, while the 24-ounce pack provides more than enough for a thicker layer or multiple tanks. Choose from different sizes to match your tank’s needs.
