About this item

• 🦎NATURAL REPTILE HABITAT: Made from 100% coconut husk, these coco chips create soft, textured substrate that supports natural digging and burrowing behavior in ball pythons, bearded dragons, geckos, tortoises, lizards, frogs, and other reptiles.
• 💧SUPERIOR MOISTURE AND HEAT RETENTION: Coconut husk chips absorb moisture while maintaining proper humidity and temperature inside your terrarium or vivarium - essential for reptile health, egg incubation, and hibernation.
• 🧼TRIPLE MACHINE WASHED: Each brick is processed three times to filter out excess salt, dust, and impurities, resulting in clean, low-EC, odor-free substrate that is safe for sensitive reptiles and delicate plants.
• ♻️ EASY TO EXPAND AND REUSE: Pack of 2 bricks, 1.1 lbs each. Add water gradually until fully hydrated, then squeeze out excess to reach desired moisture. A large bucket works well per brick. Each expands to 8 quarts - 16 quarts total.
• 🪴DUAL-USE GROWING MEDIUM:Beyond reptile enclosures, Nurtara coco chips work as orchid bark, plant substrate, and mulch for anthuriums, bonsai, and tropical plants. Balanced pH supports healthy root aeration, drainage, and soil structure.
